Mark Stewart was diagnosed with a chronic cancer in March this year. Throughout his experience he’s watched the great efforts of the medical teams striving to lift the spirits of his fellow sufferers. His aim is to create the best possible environment for their treatment, and in turn hope for their recovery.
Through a series of fundraising activities, starting with a sponsored walk, his goal is to move this large group of cancer patient’s treatment facility from portacabins, into dignified, appropriate accommodation.
This great cause is seeking to raise £40,000-£70,000 to ensure that the newly housed unit is fitted out with the best equipment possible, to aid the relif the suffering of individuals and families in the North East community.
